Last year was an important one for GiveSmart customers, and we want to share the data, insights, and – most importantly – the success the thousands of nonprofits, associations, and schools we partner with had in their communities.  

This report isn’t just about numbers; it’s a celebration of their dedication and the difference nonprofits have made in their communities. We’re highlighting a year of growth, peer-to-peer wins, fundraising event success, industry trends, Community Award winners, top resources, and more.

Measuring impact is crucial for nonprofit organizations to demonstrate the effectiveness of their fundraising programs, attract funding, and make the impossible, possible. Data-driven decision-making involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting relevant data to inform strategies and actions.

All insights are based on GiveSmart’s platform data of all customers who were under contract during the reporting period. Some information shared is specific to a smaller group or is timebound by when a feature became available. Those instances are always noted. 

The reporting period for all data is from December 1, 2022, to December 1, 2023.
